Sketch Blog Hop September 18 Day 2

Hi! Welcome to the Sketch blog hop!

The purpose of this hop is to show how all of these talented bloggers can take the same sketch and come up with totally different cards. If you've never used a card sketch before, give it a try! If you didn't hop along with us yesterday, be sure to check out the cards from Saturday. So sit back and be inspired!  You're at the last stop in the hop, so if you just started, please go back to the start at www.craftycardgallery.blogspot.com

So here's the sketch:

Here's my card:

This was a super simple card - I used this image http://melonheadzillustrating.blogspot.com/2011/03/hero.html
which was pre - colored, and I used some star buttons I had, and used some ribbon and my oval punches from Stampin Up.  A simple card, but I like it.  I will be making some cards for co-workers to sign & send to http://operationwritehome.org/ as hero mail, and I think I may make a few more of these.

If you're new to this blog, be sure to become a follower. Crafts for a Cause is a new blog &facebook page that helps crafters find a place to do crafts for a good cause - whether it be donating some embellishments to help make scrapbooks for the families of hospice patients, or cards to cheer someone facing cancer treatment, there are a lot of opportunities, so be sure to follow so you can help out!

So here's the blog candy - since this is a 2 day hop, I will select a winner on Wednesday, and will do the days in order (starting from day 1)You must be a follower to win..

1) A free copy of the Crafty Card Gallery iPhone app.  I will email you a free code for the iPhone version of the app.

Thanks so much for visiting!  I hope you've been inspired.  This is the last stop in the hop.  Thanks for hopping with us!
Jennifer
